Henneman & Associates is a full-service architecture and land planning design firm centrally located between Baltimore and Washington, D.C. in Columbia, Maryland. Established in 1994, the firm is comprised of inspired and experienced design professionals who all equally share a passion for creating sustainable and distinguished design solutions that enhance the built environment.
Henneman & Associates has established itself as a dynamic and emerging design practice by consistently delivering innovative, market sensitive and cost-effective design solutions. Our paramount goal is to consistently achieve a seamless and harmonious integration of the building with the site, and ultimately, to the overall community it serves.
The firm is headed by Jeff Henneman, RA, who enlists his 50 years of award-winning experience to personally ensure that a continuum of innovation and timelessness is branded into every project. The firm’s design services cover a broad range of building types with an emphasis in multifamily residential, mixed use, urban infill, and adaptive use.

Our philosophy at Henneman & Associates is to consistently refine and improve each and every design response from project to project rather than applying cookie-cutter solutions to each inherently unique setting. We continually challenge ourselves as well as our Clients and Consultants, believing that everyone on the design and development team has the ability to make a positive contribution to each project’s overall success.
We seek Clients not jobs. We strive to establish and build long term professional relationships with Clients who share our vision and standards of excellence. Our base of repeat and referred clientele is testimony to the success of this philosophy.
